After 5 years the BIOS finally got corrupted in my SONY Vaio laptop. I really wanted to panic b/c I didn’t have money for a new computer. However, with a lot of research and smart shopping around I found one for only 600 dollars at bestbuy. Nowadays that is not a lot of money, most good laptops are at least 1,000 and 1,500 for higher end models. Fortunately for me I found another SONY (which is normally pricey) for only 600. That is really cheap considering how nice a computer I have for the money I spent.

It’s a SONY Vaio VGN-NR430E and it’s really nice so far. Once you get rid of all the promotional crap SONY puts on their laptops you are good to go. I uninstalled all of that stuff and put the right stuff on. It works great so far.

I was worried about VISTA but so far, no problems. Just a minor problem with windows defender, not a big deal. I just wish I could uninstall it. It has disappeared from my control panel.

Anyway, all in all if you need a cheap laptop tha performs like an expensive one, I saved a bunch of money, probably almost 500 dollars on this one.
