Campaign for Story Resolution

Shortly after the official announcement of the show’s cancellation, fans of the series launched “Save Las Vegas: Operation Baby Booties” demanding a proper resolution for the series.^[7] Specifically, Danny and Delinda’s pregnancy/baby, and Cooper’s ownership fight for the Montecito.

The series’ creator, Gary Scott Thompson has also expressed his disappointment with the abrupt ending. In a Q&A with TV Guide he states: “The strike did us in. We had three more episodes to shoot for the season, which we didn’t get done. And the ‘To be continued …’ was actually supposed to be the first part of a two-parter. But that’s as far as we got.” When asked if he holds out any hope of being a able to deliver a real ending to the fans in some form; TV movie, direct to DVD, etc., he states “This is Las Vegas; there’s always hope.”^[8]
