Posted by Jason Nappi on February 7, 2008

According to tvguide.com we will find out on Saturday if the WGA will accept the deal on the table and end this strike. Keep your fingers crossed. Let’s hope the rumors are true and this thing gets done this weekend so we can have tv next fall.

Writer’s Strike

Posted by Jason Nappi on February 4, 2008

might finally be over this week. How great would that be?

Unfortunately one season is over and maybe a few shows as well. Writing shows takes time and effort, which equals momentum over years to develop storylines. When those come to a screeching hault and they go cold turkey it is tough to get the ball rolling again. I hope we get to see 24 before summer. And the Shield. Then gear up for next year’s season of new shows.

Superbowl Sunday Recap

Posted by Jason Nappi on February 4, 2008

Wow. I have never been so happy about being wrong with a prediction of anything in my life. It is extremely rare for something with as much hype as last night’s football game to live up to and ECLIPSE it. Wow. As a football fan I am ecstatic. All the distractions, all the hype, all the bs and it boiled down to a fantastic football game. I know most patriots fans will be quite bitter and upset, but they should just admit how great a game that was. The giants punched the pats in the mouth, the pats punched back, and the giants hit them back one more time and the pats didn’t get off the mat. Wow. Incredible.

So many questions to answer:

What do the Patriots do now? How do you explain what happened last night?

How does your HEAD COACH walk off the field with 1 second left in the game?

What a great victory, the giants grew up this year. What do they do next year with Shockey?

Do they even need him anymore?

What about the Giants running back situation? They have so many, who is the starter?

Justin Tuck got paid, who gets paid next?

Will the Patriots come out next year and go 19-0? They sure have the motivation for it now….

The worst part is that was the last football game we will see until next summer. The good news is that it was one of the best if not the best pure football games we have seen in a LONG time…
