Very good pilot. Really hope they pick this up for a series. The acting was good for a nbc pilot. but the car was awesome. a shelby mustang that is bullet/bomb proof and drives itself. morphs into different colors while driving. c’mon nbc, pick this up!!!

American Gangster Review

Wow. What a great movie. Ridley Scott did this american story justice. Cinematography was very well done. Denzel was at his best, he is such a better bad guy than good. I am not a huge Russell Crowe fan, but great performance here. Loved the movie. Normally for a 3 hour movie you think, “no way I can handle it.” Well this was perfect, didn’t slow down one bit. 3 hours went by so fast. Couldn’t believe it. There are some movies that need to be shorter and they would be A LOT better. Like Transformers, if that didnt have all that garbage int the middle, would have been a much better movie.
However, this movie was terrific. Can’t wait to watch it again. Now that’s how you know it was a great movie.
IMHO, should have won multiple oscars. but the oscars are politically driven like everything else in the world. so it didn’t.

Michael Clayton Review

Solid movie. great plot. good acting. I am not a huge clooney fan, but I liked this movie a lot.
as for the whole oscar debate. more to come on that later…
